Parents/Guardians:

I hope this letter finds you in the best of health and spirits.  This correspondence will discuss the upcoming senior activities for the 2011-2012 school year.  Please remind your child(ren) of the important due dates and pertinent information.

GRADUATION

It has been determined at our last Board meeting that Willingboro High School’s Graduation will be held on June 21, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.  The Graduation Ceremony will be held in the Carl Lewis Stadium (weather permitting).  If there is inclement weather, the Graduation Ceremony will be moved inside the Willingboro High School Gymnasium.  As a result, there will be a limited number of available seats and the number of people admitted to the ceremony would, therefore, be restricted.  Each graduate will receive the following color coded tickets with the available seating areas:

4 Blue Tickets                            -Gym or Stadium

3 Green Tickets                            -Auditorium or Stadium

3 Yellow Tickets                            -Stadium ONLY

The due date for Cap & Gowns has been extended to May 25, 2012.

Cost:  $40 Cash or Money Order payable to WHS (see Ms. Bright in the Guidance Department) *Any payment received after May 25, 2012 are not guaranteed a Cap & Gown.

SENIOR PROM/PROMENADE

The Senior Prom will take place on Friday June 8th at The Marion Caterers on Rt. 130 Cinnaminson.

Time: 7:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.  Students driving with provisional drivers’ licenses are required to be off the road by 12:00 a.m. so they are required to exit the prom by 11:30 p.m.

Cost:  $80.00 for a single ticket            $150.00 for a pair of tickets

Tickets are on sale until Wednesday, May 30, 2012.

Official prom pictures will be taken at the prom by Legacy Photography with different packages available. Pricing for these photos will be provided by Legacy Photography. Students will be able to get their pictures taken starting at 7:00 p.m., and will end once all photos have been taken. Attached are the prices for prom photographs from Legacy.  Dinner will be served at 8:00 p.m. All students attending the prom are required to be at the Marion no later than 9:00 p.m.

Parents, friends, and family who wish to see the students before they go to The Marion will have the opportunity to do so at the High School Promenade prior to the Prom (The Marion prohibits guests who do not have parking permission tags onto their premises the day/night of the prom). Students will have the opportunity to have a photo taken at the high school for $5.00 by a staff photographer on the stage if they wish to do so.

The promenade at the High School will start at 6:00 p.m. and will end at 7:30 p.m. in order to allow students enough time to arrive at the Marion by 8:00 p.m.
