- The Willingboro School District's
User Friendly
Budget and
Appendix C*
were posted on this site 3/21/08, following a
public hearing held 3/17/08 on the proposed 2008/2009 budget at
the request of the Business Administrator. For more
information concerning the District's Business and Finance
Department please follow their new link to the left under
Departments. *Appendix C is a Microsoft Excel document.

The Visual and Performing Arts Department
presented Arts Alive in Willingboro on April 17th. Visit
the Visual &
Performing Arts Page to see some of the great student art
displayed. Upcoming events include, May 15th the Spring Band Concert and May 27th the
Spring Vocal/Orchestra Concert. For

Willingboro High School was recommended for
re-accreditation from the AFG- Accreditation for Growth (Middle
States) Committee. An oral report was presented to the community
regarding Willingboro High School on Friday, April 18th at 2:15
pm. We would like to thank all of the hardworking faculty
and staff that made this accomplishment possible.
- The Making Visions Possible Program would
like to invite you to join them for a powerful morning, as they
present The Motherhood Conference Saturday, May 10, 2008
from9:30 am-12:00 pm. This event will take place at the
Willingboro High School, MVP Program, Room 304 Please

- Meet the young artists from
the Willingboro Public Schools on Sat., May 10 at 2 p.m. at
Willingboro Public Library. Light refreshments will be served at
this free program, open to the public. The work of these student
artists will be on display in the Willingboro Public Library's
exhibit room from May 5th - May 29th. The exhibit features
student art work from the Willingboro Public School District's
Visual & Performing Arts Department. Art works include various
media such as pastel, charcoal, pen and ink, oil, watercolor,
found objects, and wire sculpture.

The Parent Advisory Council of BCIT – Westampton
Campus, in conjunction with the County Sheriff’s Department, and
the Juvenile Justice Commission, will host an informational
seminar and parent training entitled: Gang Activity in
Burlington County & Strategies and Signs to Detect Gang Activity
This seminar is open to every parent, teacher and school
administrator in Burlington County. The Seminar will be held at
BCIT – Westampton Campus on May 15, 2008 @ 7:00 pm in the
BCIT-Westampton Campus School Auditorium.

The Willingboro School District is a proud
participant in the William F. Goodling Even Start Family
Literacy Grant Program. The program's focus is literacy for both
adults and children in the community in order to break the
chains of poverty and help families become more self-sufficient.
In addition to literacy training, the program also sponsors two
monthly events with varying topics including Parenting Education
and Family Fun Night. It also assists eligible families with
referrals for community services. For more information on this

MVP program is sponsoring a Motherhood Conference in room 304
from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Public Library. Art work from the Willingboro School
District will be on display at the public library from May 5th -
29th. Refreshments will be served on May 10th. This
is a free event that is open to the public.
