New! On Line Elementary Lesson Plan Templates:  Teachers, lesson plan templates are available now on line through the district web page.   The  templates are available in Word and Adobe .pdf format.  You can download save and alter the Word templates and/or print blank templates to use. You can also save and attach them to your emails.  Click New! On Line Lesson Plan Forms under the Staff Services Menu to the left.  Find the lesson plans appropriate for your grade level and/or school and click the version of the template you would like to have. A username and password is required to access these forms.  Please contact the web manager at ext. 8841 if you need further assistance gaining access to this area.

On behalf of our entire staff at W.R. James Elementary School, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school web site.

We are very proud of the students, staff, and parents at our school. Our students are motivated, cooperative, well-behaved and pleasant. Staff members constantly seek new ways to make school exciting and relevant for our students.

Through our many changes, challenges, and celebrated improvements, we have truly transformed from a caterpillar to a butterfly . . . from crawling to soaring. We see this through a definite increase in student achievement, improved school climate, parent/community involvement, and respect for self and others just to name a few.

Our vision is to provide an atmosphere that nurtures success for all students in order to continue their educational development and become productive members of society and life-long learners.

We are proud and delighted to announce that Mrs. Lynne Clark , Kindergarten teacher from W.R. James Sr. Elementary School was awarded a  $300.00 teacher grant from JoAnn's!  The Kindergarten classes will use these funds to assist in their project "Island Adventure" as part of  the schoolwide study of other countries,  "W.R. James Around the World" in the late Spring.
