    Mission Statement
    The mission of the Music Department at J.C. Stuart Elementary School is to foster a love of learning and performing in the area of music. We create a safe environment where all students  are encouraged to grow and develop their musical skills and their self confidence.
    About the Music Department
     
    The music department is run by Ms. Stephanie Faille and Mr. Jeffrey Cope. Currently, we offer music instruction through:
    • General Music Classes (Kindergarten-5th Grade)
    • Band Lessons (3rd-5th Grade)
    • Orchestra Lessons (3rd-5th Grade)
     
     
    About Stephanie Faille

     

    Stephanie Faille has been teaching music in NJ public schools since 1997. She started her teaching career as a high school band director at a magnet school for the performing arts in Howell, NJ. Miss Faille has performed throughout Europe and the United States with the Grammy Award winning duo “The Kinleys” and has also performed for the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society in Nashville, TN. She has performed at the N.A.M.M. show in Annaheim, CA and Nashville, TN.  Stephanie has recorded for GC Records and Flat Canyon Records in Denver, CO and was recruited by J. Gatorchase Productions to record an instructional DVD entitled, “Beginning Saxophone: Lesson 1”. Miss Faille is currently enrolled at the Mason Gross School of Performing Arts at Rutgers University working on her Master of Music in Music Education degree.
