To My Phoenix Family,
As I prepare to close this chapter of my educational journey and begin my retirement, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each of you.
Serving as Principal of the Bookbinder Alternative Program has been a meaningful experience of my career. Throughout my more than 30 years in education and 21 of those years in the Willingboro Public Schools; I have had the privilege of working with countless students, families, teachers, and staff members, but the Phoenix Family holds a very special place in my heart.
Together, we faced challenges, celebrated victories, supported one another, and remained committed to ensuring that every student was seen, valued, and given the opportunity to succeed. I have witnessed resilience, determination, compassion, and growth every day within these walls. Like the phoenix, our students and staff have continually risen above obstacles and demonstrated the power of perseverance.
To the staff, thank you for your unwavering commitment, your countless hours of service, and the love and care you pour into our students each day. Your work changes lives, often in ways that may never be fully known.
To our students and families, thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey. Never forget that your circumstances do not define your future. Continue to rise, continue to believe in yourselves, and continue to pursue your dreams with courage and determination.
While I may be retiring from my role, I will always carry the memories, relationships, and lessons learned from the Willingboro school community as a whole. I leave with a heart full of gratitude, pride, and confidence that the Phoenix Family will continue to soar to even greater heights.
Thank you for allowing me the honor of serving as your principal. It has truly been a privilege and a blessing. With sincere appreciation and gratitude.
Always remember the Phoenix Pledge
Prepare for the future YOU deserve
Have a positive attitude
Open Your mind to possibilities learning will provide for you
Embrace each day as a new opportunity
Never give up
Influence those around YOU in a positive easy, be a leader
Xenial in all YOUR interactions (be kind)
