The Burlington County Board of Elections is seeking poll workers for Election Day on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. This is an opportunity for eligible Burlington County residents to support the election process while earning $300 for working Election Day.
Poll workers assist with a variety of Election Day responsibilities, including setting up voting machines and electronic poll books, preparing supplies, processing voter sign-ins, assisting voters, and completing closing procedures at the end of the day.
Who Can Apply?
Prospective poll workers must:
Be 18 years of age or older
Be registered to vote in Burlington County
Be able to read and write legibly
Be available to work approximately 5:15 a.m.–8:30 p.m. on Election Day
Complete mandatory in-person training
No previous experience is required. Residents who are comfortable using technology and those who are bilingual or multilingual are strongly encouraged to consider this public service opportunity.
Poll workers will receive $300 for working Election Day. Poll workers will also receive compensation for required training, provided they work on Election Day. Burlington County has identified poll-worker training and familiarity with voting equipment as important components of Election Day preparation.
