As part of our continued effort to strengthen connections throughout the Willingboro community, Willingboro Township Public Schools is pleased to share information from Willingboro Township about upcoming recreational programs and activities available to local families.
The Willingboro Township Recreation Department has a full lineup of opportunities this fall designed to keep children, families, and community members active, connected, and engaged. October offerings include Skills & Drills, Youth Instructional Basketball, Youth Wrestling, the Tuff Enuff Empowerment Network, and Winter Camp, with registration currently open.
Community members can also look forward to several special events throughout October. Boro Open Mic will take place on Friday, October 16, 2026, providing an opportunity to enjoy music, poetry, spoken word, comedy, and more. Later in the month, the Township will host Tricks, Treats & Thrills on Friday, October 30, 2026. Volunteers are also needed to help make the event a success. Those interested in volunteering may contact Candice Freeman at 609-877-2200, ext. 1104.
These programs provide another way for our scholars and families to connect with the broader Willingboro community, explore new interests, build skills, and enjoy positive experiences together. Willingboro Township Public Schools appreciates the continued partnership of Willingboro Township and looks forward to sharing additional opportunities that benefit the families we collectively serve.
For additional information about Township recreation programs and registration, contact the Recreation Department at 609-877-2200, ext. 1113, or visit Willingboro Recreation.
