Twin Hills Families: First, thank you for all of your patience during arrival and dismissal. Please be reminded, it is imperative that we adhere to all safety and traffic guidelines during arrival/dismissal so the lot remains safe for all who enter. Please adhere to the signs and do not enter the areas marked as such. Additionally, you must pull over/park in the parking lot. You cannot block the flow of traffic. Twin Hills Families: School begins at 10:50 on reduced days. The bus lane is not open to cars during arrival. Please refrain from parking in the bus lane on delayed openings. Please obey all traffic rules and signs in the parking lot for the safety of all students and families. Before school supervision was not available today and you were notified through the district. Students were not permitted to be dropped off early due to the weather.

Parents: Please Review this Important Message: (From our Twin Hills Parent/Student Handbook) At Twin Hills School Students are encouraged to solve conflicts peacefully daily. Your support is imperative as well. *VERY IMPORTANT* Please be advised: Parents are NOT permitted to speak with children that are not their own. If your child is having an issue/conflict with another child, please use the expected chain of communication(under the Parents tab on our website) to reach out to the adults at school. When a child’s parent is not present to consent to communication, adults are not permitted to address children.

Dismissal: 1st and 2nd grade students will be dismissed from the main entrance under the awning. Parents will need to park and walk up due to the buses in the bus lane. 3rd and 4th students will be dismissed from the doors near the basketball area.

Inclement weather at Twin Hills... Please prepare your child for inclement weather. Expect additional delays in the parking lot on inclement weather days and plan accordingly. Our plan is as follows: Arrival: 1st and 2nd grade students will enter the library from the blacktop and wait inside. 3rd and 4th grade students will enter near the doors by the basketball court and wait inside. Dismissal: 1st and 2nd grade students will be dismissed from the main entrance under the awning. Parents will need to park and walk up due to the buses in the bus lane. 3rd and 4th students will be dismissed from the doors near the basketball area. They will not be expected to wait outside in inclement weather. If you have issues with mobility, please call the office to make different arrangements. We cannot escort your child(ren) to you. You will not be allowed admittance to the bus lane. The bus lane is only for buses and the safety of our students cannot be compromised. However, we are more than willing to make additional arrangements. This plan can be modified at any time, if changes occur, you will be notified. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
