Dear Willingboro High School Families,
I hope you and your family have enjoyed a safe, restful, and rewarding summer. Whether you are returning to Willingboro High School or joining our community for the first time, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2026 -2027 school year.
As I enter my third year as principal at Willingboro High School, I am excited about the continued progress of our school. Last year, together, we strengthened our culture, expanded opportunities for students, and raised expectations across our building. This year, we will continue building on that momentum with an unwavering commitment to academic excellence, student growth, and preparing every student for success beyond graduation.
Our Vision for Teaching and Learning
Everything we do begins with instruction. At Willingboro High School, we believe students achieve at the highest levels when they are challenged, supported, and inspired every day. Our classrooms will emphasize rigorous instruction, meaningful student engagement, critical thinking, literacy across all content areas, and real-world learning experiences that prepare students for college, careers, military service, and life.
Our teachers will provide learning experiences that encourage students to read, write, collaborate, solve problems, and think critically. We believe that when high expectations are paired with meaningful support, every student has the opportunity to succeed. Our goal is simple: Every student should leave each classroom knowing more, thinking more deeply, and believing more in their own potential than when they entered.
Student Expectations
A successful school year begins with strong habits. Students are expected to attend school daily, arrive on time, come prepared to learn, and demonstrate respect for themselves, others, and our school community.
To maximize instructional time and minimize distractions, cell phones and headphones are not permitted during instructional time unless specifically authorized by the teacher for educational purposes. Students may use these devices during lunch in the cafeteria and while transitioning through the hallways between classes.
As a 1:1 technology school, students are expected to bring their Chromebook to school each day fully charged and ready for learning.
